ADempiere and iDempiere – How To Remove CheckBox and X from Yes/No

Hi Everyone,

Here is a common question:
“How do you remove the green check or the red X from ADempiere and iDempiere print formats?”

 

Answer:
Create a column in your print format’s view or a ColSQL in your print format’s table and column that pulls the same column with a different name. For Example, isactive would be active_string. When you choose your Reference at the Table and Column, choose String instead of Yes/No. This will print your column with a ‘Y’ or ‘N’.
